We are a small group of motorcycle enthusiasts who support the Native American Indians by raising funds through various events & sales and we welcome anyone who would like to help raise funds with us.
Some of the members are of Native Blood making our plight even more strong!!
Each one of us helps on a purely voluntary basis so that all proceeds can be given directly to the non-profit organization that we work with.
We have lovely friends all over the country that help us with supplies be it a few beads or a whole box of beads and spreading the word and to all our followers and helpers, we are truly grateful.
If you would like to help raise funds or have and offers of craft items, please do not hesitate to contact us or One Spirit directly at www.Nativeprogress.org - this is the USA charity that we remit the money to who deal with the needs of the reservations directly.
THE MATERIALS WE USE
Feathers have been either bought from legitimate sellers or donated from various sanctuaries from the natural molt of the birds.
Hides have been sourced legally that would otherwise be incinerated and any animal bi products have been sourced from legitimate sellers, food farmers, anonymous donations and roadkill.
Please also be aware that the feathers we use/source are from countries where there are no regulations about their use. Bear this in mind if you are buying from overseas. We abide by the laws of DEFRA on this also.
Any pictures used (other than our own products) have been sourced from the internet from Royalty free sources but should anyone know that a picture is not in that category, please politely let us know and we will remove it or destroy it if used on a card.
Other designs we may have used, we have asked permission first.
WHAT WE DO IS GENUINE
It is not our intention to upset, annoy, insult anyone or infringe on any none legal activities with what we sell but its life and mistakes happen. We will happily listen and discuss it with you and take the appropriate action necessary.
What we want everyone from every nation to understand is this, we do NOT profess that anything we make is particular to any tribe or culture hence the difference of some items used. At the end of the day, it is not to endorse any particular style or art, but simply to make appealing things to raise money for the reservations. If we could sell snow to the Eskimo's to raise funds.. we would!
So please dont be mean by creating problems.
Recently we have come across some 'wannabe's' (and other so called sympathizers) who sell via the internet who seem to see us as a threat to their sales and have been known to try to cause trouble for us, so if you have any concerns from reports, gossip etc, we would appreciate a polite email so that we can discuss any issues that have arisen.
Sometimes a little knowledge is a dangerous thing and it makes no difference to cause trouble. Funds will still be legally raised and donated. Our plight is one we take strongly.
We have no issues with other sellers of native items, at the end of the day, we are only concerned with what WE do and what we do is for the good of the reservation and all profits, except to replace craft items (for which we have had permission in accordance with charitable requirements), is sent via direct donations to One Spirit.
It is deeply saddening when people want to ruin our cause but we also expect some adversity, as such is life when good deeds are done and there are still the racists out there who do not sympathize with the NAI. Our hearts are content in the knowledge that what we are doing is for the right reasons and genuine.
