is there hope at last???
Why the Native Americans?
Since white man invaded their territory and massacred them at Wounded Knee on December 19th 1890, the Native Indians have been given a life of hell.
Their land taken from them and their pride and heritage annihilated. Even as recent as 1973, the massacres are still going on and the US government do nothing to help. The reservations, especially Wounded Knee (Pine Ridge) and Porcupine are so dreadfully run down and barren that they can barely live.
Sanitation is poor to non existent as is the simplicity of clean running water. Disease is rife because of the lack of medical care and facilities and suicide amongst the 15-18 year olds is incredible high.
In some towns in the US, it is still a hangable offence for a Native to walk thru it and can still be shot on sight. For what reason??? for purely being a native! The minds of many of the modern Americans have been brainwashed into still hating the natives. Companies refuse to deal with the reservations due to fear of backlash from the US Government for doing so.
Natives are being incarcerated on trumped up charges and left beaten and abused in prisons. Officials are aware of the lies and deceit caused in imprisoning innocent men but will do nothing about it. Its disgusting, barbaric and unnecessary.
Its widely feared that the US want to totally wipe out the natives and its evident in the suggestion of compulsory sterilization of the women and the many that go missing each year without trace.
The Us makes an incredible amount of money from tourism from the Natives but give little or nothing back. Its the reason why people like us and the ones we deal with do all we can to give support to the reservations as much as we can.
White man taught the natives that violence to their families was the "correct" way in which to discipline children and women. It was white man that introduced the evils of alcohol. In fact white man has brought about the total misconception on the Indians and it is so wrong. They are a beautiful and loving race with much forgiveness in their hearts.
They are not allowed to wear native dress outside the reservations and the times they wish to honor rituals at what few sacred sites are left, they must travel in civilian dress and are escorted by several hundred blood thirsty armed officials.
Is this what you understood about Native American Indians and their life?
Has it upset you?
